Ephesians 4:11-16

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,  till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;  that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—  from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Ministries of Praise

The bible teaches in Ephesians 4:11 that one of the Church's primary functions is to prepare developing Christians for the work of the ministry.  As one matures in Christ, they begin to realize that God creates each person with a unique blend of skills, talents, abilities and motivations.  That person also comes to the realization that God has a purpose for their life, and living their life to the fullest potential in Christ becomes paramount.  By deciding to step out and become involved in a ministry, you will be positioning  yourself to do the work of the Lord, performing His will, and fulfilling who you are in Him.

    If you are not presently involved in a ministry, but feel God stirring you within to a deeper walk, to a change in your direction, to new heights, please feel free to share these things with our Pastoral staff. Maybe you're not sure what you have to offer?  We will pray with you, hold hands with you, and help you fulfill your destiny in Christ.
